Greenshutters Plant Centre is open 7 days a week and stocks an extensive range of plants including specimen conifers, magnolia, rhododendrons, azaleas, hydrangeas, Japanese maples and a broad range of other trees, shrubs & herbaceous perennials. Bedding plants and hanging baskets are also sold in the spring and summer months.

Greenshutters Plant Centre also stocks a range of garden sundries & compost including Greenshutters' own professional mix of general purpose and ericaceous compost, as well as terracotta & glazed pots. We also sell and accept National Garden Gift Vouchers.

Greenshutters Evergreen Hedging Centre is part of Greenshutters Nurseries based near Taunton in Somerset. Greenshutters Nurseries is independently owned by Roger & Donna Eavis and we have been growing plants for evergreen hedging, including conifers and evergreen shrubs, since 1980.

Greenshutters Nurseries grows most of its own stock to supply the Evergreen Hedging Centre and our retail Plant Centre.  We have a production nursery on the Isle of Wight.

From the M5

We are approximately 6.5 miles from junction 25 of the M5. From the motorway roundabout take the A358 towards Yeovil, Ilminster and Langport. Follow this road for about 2.5 miles until you reach a set of traffic lights at the top of a hill with an Esso Service Station on the left. Turn left here on to the A378 towards Langport. Follow this road for approximately 4 miles and we have a road frontage on this road on the left-hand-side. You will come up a long hill through some woods and we are at the top of that hill on the left.

From the A303 at Ilminster

Take the A358 towards Taunton and follow that road until you reach a set of traffic lights with an Esso Service Station on your right. Turn right here on to the A378 towards Langport. Follow this road for approximately 4 miles and we have a road frontage on this road on the left-hand-side. You will come up a long hill through some woods and we are at the top of that hill on the left.

From the A303 at Podimore Roundabout

Take the A372 towards Langport from the Podimore roundabout. Follow this road all the way into Langport (approx 9 miles) and in the process you will join the A378 (turning left on to it). Follow the A378 through Langport and out the other side. We are 5 miles past Langport on the right-hand-side of the A378, approximately ¾ mile past Fivehead Service Station. You will go through the village of Curry Rivel en-route. Do not turn off the road into the village of Fivehead.
