Buxus sempervirens (or Box) is a slow-growing evergreen shrub that can be trimmed to any shape. Box is Often used for small formal hedges but can form taller hedges up to 5m. Box hedges can grow in any well drained soil in sun or shade. Rate of growth: up to 20cm per year.
