Summer is almost here, and not a moment too soon! Plants are now growing well after the prolonged cold spell we had this winter. The Rhododendrons are now in full bloom, bringing colour back to the year. Even if your garden is not acid soil, then you can still enjoy these beautiful shrubs in pots of ericaceous compost.
Hopefully the June weather will let us enjoy our gardens well into the evening when the rich, heady fragrances of flowers fill the air. We have a good range of scented plants available including Lavenders, Roses, Nicotiana, Tangerine Sage, Honeysuckle, Evening Primrose …….
To cover a fence, pergola or to hide an unsightly structure, choose from one of our climbers including clematis, wisteria, jasmine and honeysuckle.
For all you football fans, why not show your support for the England World Cup team with hanging baskets specifically made up in our red and white patriotic colours – ideal present for Fathers’ Day (Sunday 20th June)!
All we need now is a summer of good weather so we can all sit back, relax and enjoy the gardens that we have created.
