IMPORTANT: Please read the following details or you may be charged extra for re-delivery.
- The plants will be delivered between the hours of 9am and 6pm on your chosen day of delivery. If you would like to book in the delivery with the courier for a specific time (usually a 3 hour slot), please note this under Delivery Address/Delivery Notes. You must allow four working days from date of order to time of delivery if you wish to book in your delivery. The courier will contact you to book in the delivery so please supply a telephone number that you can be reached on during business hours. Alternatively, special delivery notes can be added to the order, e.g. "Please ring 30 mins before arrival" and the courier will do their best to follow them.
- Please ensure someone is at the delivery address to sign for the delivery. If no-one is available to sign for the plants, the courier will return them to their distribution centre and there is an additional charge to have them delivered again. Please check the number, size and type of plants that are delivered and sign for delivery. Please check that no damage has been caused to the plants in transport (although this is very rare) and that the correct plants have been delivered. Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. If you have any doubts or questions, please ring 01460 281265.
- You must ensure that a lorry (7.5 or 10 tonne) can get down the road. This is about the size of a large dustbin lorry and must be able to park adjacent to your property. If you have any doubts or questions, please ring 01460 281265.
- You will have to arrange for someone to help unload the plants by hand if the ground is steep or rough (e.g. soil, gravel or hardcore). Most orders will be sent in a wooden pallet crate by a Pallet Courier. The courier will drop the wooden crate with a pedestrian pallet truck at the kerb or just into your drive if you have one. The pallet truck needs a smooth flat surface to move on, such as concrete or tarmac. If your ground is steep or rough, you will have to arrange for someone to help unload the plants by hand.
- Please ensure that the address you give is accurate.
